BRENT COOPER

AND HIS SHOWS

Brent Cooper is celebrating his 25th year as an entertainer!

Brent lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana with his beautiful wife Dawn, and has two rescued dogs, Lansky & Mandee.  Brent has an Indiana University, Fine and Performing Arts degree in Graphic Design and is a freelance Graphic Artist. If you need advertising design work, visit his Graphic Design page to see examples of his work and contact him to see what he can do for you.  Brent is active in his church and serves as the Worship Leader at North Highlands Church of Christ in Fort Wayne.  In addition to performing his amazing tribute shows, Brent has appeared in commercials, television, radio, and has acted on stage as well as a small part in the film “Eight Men Out.”

Below you will find descriptions of the four types of shows that are available:

BRENT A. COOPER has been trilling audiences with his uncanny and exciting Elvis tribute show "Memories of The King" since 1997.  He has performed all over the Mid-West as well as some other areas in the country including Elvis' two hometowns: Tupelo, MS, and Memphis, TN.  Brent has also performed his show for the Carnival Cruise Line.

Brent was exposed to Elvis’ music at an early age, thanks to his parents and his sister Melody.  Brent got the ultimate thrill of seeing Elvis live at the Memorial Coliseum in Ft. Wayne, in 1972.  Brent has been blessed to meet many of Elvis’ fellow musicians, friends and co-stars over the years.  He even got to perform with Elvis’ original drummer (1955-1968) DJ Fontana, in 2003.

Other highlights of Brent’s career include recording at Sun Studios in Memphis, TN (where Elvis started his career).  He  has the distinct honor of being the first ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) to have performed at the Elvis Presley Memorial Chapel, at Elvis’ birth site in Tupelo, MS.  Brent and the “Memories of the King-Fan Club”, also have the honor of being the first group to hold a Sunday morning Worship service at that Chapel in 2007.

In 2011 Brent presented the first "Memories of The King - Cruise" and was a guest performer aboard the Carnival Liberty.  Brent performed on the Carnival Valor in 2013.

Brent has developed and expanded his show over the years into the entertaining show that it is today.
Brent is always adding things and looking for new and better ways to pay tribute to “The King”.  As an Elvis fan himself, Brent is a stickler for details, and wears authentic reproduction stage costumes matching the era of music he is performing.  Joining Brent on most shows is vocalist Jamie Benya.  Jamie and her angelic voice opens for Brent and joins him on duets and singing backup vocals.

Brent performs all eras of music in his Elvis tribute:
1950’s (early Rock-a-billy), 1960’s (Movies, 68 Comeback), 1970’s (Vegas, Aloha from Hawaii).
If booking a show you can request what era(s) of Elvis’ career you want.

Brent likes to involve the audience in the show by throwing out Elvis trivia questions, as well as concert scarves, Hawaiian leis or teddy bears.

Brent, became a huge fan of singer/songwriter Neil Diamond, after seeing his 1980 film "The Jazz Singer." It was this movie that inspired Brent to be a performer.  Brent has seen this legend five times in concert, and always wanted to add a tribute to Neil, and did just that in 2014.  This exciting show includes hits from Neil's vast career.  From his first 1966 hit "Solitary Man" to 2014's "Something Blue", he will have everyone clapping and singing along.  Joining Brent on most shows is vocalist Jamie Benya.  Jamie and her angelic voice opens for Brent and joins him on duets and singing backup vocals.  Visit our "Diamond: A Solitary Tribute" page for more information.

If you can't decide which amazing tribute you want to book between the Elvis tribute and the Neil Diamond tribute, you can book both for one combined show called "The King of Diamonds" (first half of the show a Neil Diamond tribute, the second half Elvis tribute).

Country, Rock, Oldies & Elvis

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Brent & Jamie launched "Brent Cooper & Jamie Benya: King & Country." in 2015. Brent and Jamie perform a variety of songs including Country, Rock, Oldies, Gospel and more.  Of course Brent will be performing both Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond songs and will take your requests to be sure you hear your favorites.  Jamie with her incredibly beautiful voice sings solo on Country (both classic and contemporary) and Gospel songs.  Then there are the duets.  Brent and Jamie's voices are so perfect together you will love the numerous songs they perform as a duo.  There is simply something for everyone with this show.

There is also a special Worship version of "King & Country" where Brent and Jamie perform a mix of contemporary praise and worship music with Elvis gospel songs.
